Coming off her second straight All-NEC campaign, Prantl finished the month of September with a 6-2 singles record, highlighted by a run to the finals in the B Flight at the Stony Brook Classic. In the mid-September event, she scored wins against Army, Rhode Island and Stony Brook before falling in title match to Army’s Della Taylor. One week later, Prantl posted a 3-1 mark at the Eastern Championships to advance to the Flight A semifinals. Among her victims was defending champion Elena Ivanova of Hofstra, whom she ousted in a tightly contested affair, 9-8 (5). The native of Germany also paired with Egzona Morina to win two-of-three matches in A Flight doubles play at the Stony Brook Classic.
