After finishing fifth overall at Saturday’s Fordham Fiasco 5K, Sacred Heart senior Brittany Heninger garners NEC Women’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week Honors. The Bristol, CT native crossed the finish line in 18:25 to lead all NEC harriers and boost SHU to a fifth place overall finish. The time was a personal best for the senior and the second fastest time of any Pioneer at Van Cortlandt Park.
