Bird scored twice in Bryant’s 4-1 win over LaSalle and continues to lead the NEC in goals per game average (1.10). The freshman forward converted a penalty stroke attempt to open the scoring 2:12 into what was Bryant’s lone game last week. The native New Zealander added her 11th goal of the season in the 69th minute of the 4-1 victory. The repeat NEC Rookie of the Week has 11 tallies in her first 10 collegiate contests.
