Ostrander continues to make waves in the pool this season as she tallied five first place finishes for the Bulldogs this past weekend. Against in-state rival Providence, the 2010 and 2011 NEC Outstanding Swimmer not only touched the wall first in the 50 free (24:31), 100 free (53:02) and 100 fly (59:24), but also set pool records in the respective events. Ostrander was also part of a 200 medley relay team that took first against the Friars. The Massachusetts native followed up by helping the 400 relay team to a first place finish during a tri-meet with Siena and Niagara, as well as a first place finish in the 100 fly and 50 free. On the season, Ostrander has earned 13 first place finishes

Ford broke three pool records en-route to picking up as many first place finishes for the Red Flash this weekend as Saint Francis (PA) rolled to a win 153-109 win over Akron. The junior anchored the first place 400 medley relay (3:57.09), led off for the 200 free relay team and swam to a league best time of 52:24 in the 100 free. Ford also came within a second of besting her own personal record in the 50 free, which she swam in 24:43.
