Rosemier-Gussio took over the early-season NEC lead in the long jump during his first competition of the 2012 calendar year. The first-year Mountaineer won the gold medal at the Bucknell Mini-Meet with his bound of 6.79m (22’ 3.5”). The mark moved the rookie past his senior teammate Quinton Huguley for first place on the NEC long jump leader board and puts Rosemier-Gussio within striking distance of the IC4A Championship qualifying standard.
