Rydzewski jumped out to an outstanding start in the spring season, posting a 6-1 singles mark over the first month of play.  She is currently riding a six-match win streak, which includes a victory over Army’s Larraine Saavedra (3-6, 6-3, 6-1) at the #3 flight, along with triumphs against Binghamton’s Taylor Hollander (4-6, 7-5, 11-9) and Albany’s Livia Gherman (6-3, 6-1) in #2 flight play.  Rydzewski also picked up a 6-3, 6-2 victory over RMU’s Carly Limon to help lead the Pioneers to a 6-1 win over the Colonials on Sunday.  To date, she leads Sacred Heart with 13 victories against just five defeats and is 5-1 when competing at the #2 spot.
