Sidor earns her second NEC Pitcher of the Week nod of the year after she recorded a 0.79 ERA over 18 innings pitched, appearing in all four of Sacred Heart’s contests during the opening weekend of league play. The junior tossed a complete game shutout, her fourth of the season, on Sunday allowing just two hits in a 1-0 victory over Mount St. Mary’s. She then appeared in the second game of the doubleheader against the Mount, posting three scoreless innings in relief to earn her first save of 2012. Over the course of the weekend she racked up 16 K’s in 18 innings pitched, bringing her total for the season to 98.

Pagano finished the weekend with a 0.37 ERA and 11 strikeouts in 19.0 innings pitched. The redshirt sophomore tossed a one-hit shutout in a 1-0 eight inning win against Quinnipiac on Friday. She then pitched four innings in the nightcap, allowing one unearned run three hits with one strikeout in 4.0 innings of work. Pagano did not allow a run in 11 innings on the day. The New Jersey native was the hard-luck loser in a 1-0 loss to Sacred Heart on Sunday after yielding just one run on five hits with four strikeouts.  In her last seven games Pagano has tossed a one-hitter, a no-hitter and a perfect game.
