Kelich tossed the lone 9-inning complete-game shutout in Northeast Conference baseball last week. The Garden State product, who has shown a knack for winning NEC games ever since he went 6-1 in league play as a freshman member of the All-NEC Second Team, picked up his second conference victory in as many starts. Pitching Bryant to a 4-0 road win over LIU Brooklyn, Kelich scattered seven hits over 9.0 scoreless frames. The 6-foot-1 right-hander threw 120 pitches and produced a 10-to-1 strikeout-to-walk ratio. Outdueling all-NEC hurler Chris Franzese, Kelich fanned 10 Blackbirds and issued only one free pass. The third-year Bulldog now owns a 13-3 career record in Northeast Conference contests.
