Men's Outdoor Track NEC Field Athlete of the Week

Quinton Huguley, Mount St. Mary's
Port Tobacco, MD / McDonough
Jumps
Senior

If his latest performance is any indication, then Huguley will be in the mix for the conference long jump crown when the 2012 NEC Outdoor Championships come to Mount St. Mary’s in May.  Contesting an above-average field of competitors at William & Mary’s Colonial Relays, the veteran long jumped 7.13m (23’ 4.75”) to score a fifth-place finish.  The mark automatically qualifies Huguley for the IC4A Championships and moves him up to the No. 3 spot on the NEC’s performance list.  Huguley, who is the lone non-LIU Blackbird in the NEC’s Top 4, is four centimeter shy of the second-place mark.
