Fanion picked up his first top-ten finish of the season after recording scores of 74 and 71 at the New England Championship to help lead the Blue Devils to a first-place team finish. The Massachusetts native completed the two day competition with -2 and was just two strokes behind the tournament champion. With the win the Blue Devils claim back-to-back champion honors at the event after notching first in 2011 as well.
