Jeffrey gives Monmouth a second shot putter with the ability to eclipse the 17.50m mark when the 2012 NEC Outdoor Championships commence on May 5 & 6 in Emmitsburg, MD. Coming within 22 centimeters of teammate Vincent Elardo’s league-leading mark, Jeffrey posted the second-best performance on the NEC season leader board.  Jeffrey put the shot 17.63m (57’ 10.25”) to top the field and lead a 1-2-3-4 finish in the event at the Lehigh Games. The first-year Hawk, who transferred from Bronx Community College, also brings point-scoring potential in the discus to the upcoming NEC Outdoor Championships. Jeffrey owns the third spot on the league’s discus performance list.
