Bridge’s performances appear to be peaking at the right time, considering the NEC Outdoor Championships are only days away.  The veteran shot putter set a personal record while placing second in the College Division of the Penn Relays.  Bridge put the shot 15.23m (49’ 11.75”) to solidify her status as the top seed heading into this weekend’s conference title meet while also pulling into second place in Saint Francis’ program record book.  The veteran Red Flash thrower has been around the 15-meter mark since mid-April. Bridge, who will be looking for an outdoor crown to go along with the shot put title she claimed at the NEC Indoor Championships back in February, recorded a 14.96m mark at the Army 5-Way on April 14 and followed with a 14.95m performance one week later at the Bucknell Team Challenge.
