Alfiere made two appearances and one start last week, recoding a 1-0 record from within the circle. She pitched a team-leading 13 and 2.3 scoreless innings. She scattered nine hits and earned four strikeouts while doling opponent batters to .191 from the plate. The sophomore also contributed two hits, one run and RBI as the designated player in two outings. Alfiere now stands at 7-2 on the season and posts the second best ERA on the squad (2.07).
