Gooding notched two top-10 finishes last week. At the Metropolitan Championships, he finished eighth out of 111 runners with a time of 26:37.34. Gooding followed up with a personal-best time of 25:17.32 at the Highlander Classic, which was good for third in the field of 184, and first among Division I runners.
