Black won her first career race at the CCSU Mini Meet, placing first out of 144 competitors in a time of 10:04 in the 3k race to lead the Bulldogs to a fourth place team finish. She was early 20 seconds faster than the next runner to cross the line.. This is her third NEC Athlete of the Week award this season.
