Ambrosio is red-hot heading into the postseason, having won seven straight singles matches for the Bobcats, who are seeded third in the NEC Tournament.  Last week, he recorded three wins at the #3 flight, beginning with a come-from-behind 3-6, 6-2, 6-1 win over Fordham’s Jan Krouham.  Over the weekend, Ambrosio also knocked off Saint Francis U’s Lawson Barter, 6-3, 6-1, and Hofstra’s Adrien Bailly, 6-3, 7-6 (6).  In #3 doubles, the Lloyd Harbor, NY product paired up with Chris Nelson for an 8-5 triumph against Fordham.  With his big week, Ambrosio crossed the 50-win plateau in his QU career and has racked up 53 victories in two years.
