One of the hottest players on the circuit, Bekhiet posted a perfect 5-0 mark at #2 singles last week, and has now won seven straight singles matches for the Hawks.  In winning his first NEC Player of the Week and second straight NEC Rookie honor, Bekhiet knocked off three conference opponents in three days.  He began with a 6-3, 7-6 win over SFU’s Andres Rosa on Saturday, recorded a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Wagner’s Sawyer Fonda on Sunday and wrapped his week with a 4-6, 6-3, 10-6 triumph against Quinnipiac’s Fahoum Fahoum on Monday.  Earlier in the week, the Robbinsville, NJ product produced straight set wins against opponents from Villanova and Rider.  Bekhiet excelled in #1 doubles as well, winning four-of-five matches with partner Freddy Marcinkowski.  He leads the Hawks with 13 wins on the year - including an 8-3 mark at #2 singles - and is a perfect 4-0 in NEC play.
