Bhasin closed out her rookie campaign on a high note. The California-born guard took Downtown Brooklyn by storm this past week. Shooting 50 percent from the floor, Bhasin averaged 14.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game as the Blackbirds played host to the top-two teams in the NEC standings. She tallied 14 points and eight rebounds against NEC regular season champion Quinnipiac on Saturday. Two days later, she put in 15 points to help the Blackbirds upset second-place Sacred Heart. For the week, Bhasin made 10 of 20 field goal attempts, including a 3-for-7 clip from downtown.
