With the 2012 portion of the NEC swimming schedule underway, Central Connecticut’s Helene Neuhaus and Madison Vestergaard wasted no time getting back to work in the pool and on the boards respectively. Neuhaus earns her second NEC Swimmer of the Week nod of the season after notching first place finishes in the 100 backstroke and 200 medley relay, as well as in the 50 and 100-yard freestyle during the Blue Devils dual match with Vermont. On the boards, Vestergaard posted a first and second place finish in the three and one meter diving events, respectively, to collect her third NEC Diver of the Week honor of the season.
