Quinnipiac runners sweep the NEC Athlete of the Week awards for their impressive performances at the Lehigh Paul Short Run. Competing at one of the largest races this year, Rich Klauber managed a 6th place finish out of 283 athletes with a time of 25:23, a new personal best. His teammate Brendan Copley, the NEC Rookie of the Week, was not far behind in 22nd place with a time of 25:55, which also topped his previous personal best. For the women, Becca White garners her second weekly honor for her 75th finish out of 360 athletes in a time of 21:50. This was the the third time White has paced the Bobcats in 2012. Chelsea Savage picks up her first NEC Rookie of the Week award after finishing in 150th place and fourth among Bobcat runners in 22:33.
