Northeast Conference Men's Soccer Weekly Release (10/22)

Fairleigh Dickinson stayed atop the NEC standings and extended its shutout streak to four games as NEC Co-Player of the Week
Jacob Lissek led the charge. Lissek combined for six saves, including five in a 1-0 victory over Robert Morris. His sixth save, however, might’ve been his biggest of the season, as it denied Saint Francis (PA) from topping the Knights in the 97th minute of Friday’s 0-0 tie. Sharing the honor, Central Connecticut went 2-0-0 over the weekend behind a five-point effort from senior
Reece Wilson. Wilson scored two goals and added an assist. He netted one goal and helped out on another in a 4-1 win over Mount St. Mary’s, and then capped off the weekend with a strike in a 2-0 decision over Nutmeg State rival Sacred Heart. St. Francis (NY) forward
Kevin Correa captured the rookie award yet again, scoring goals in back-to-back games as the Terriers went 1-1-0. He now has 11 on the season, an NEC high.
