The first NEC "Social" Media Day is in the books and you can watch the two-hour plus HD broadcast of the event in its entirety on
NEC Front Row.
The brand-new Barclays Center in Brooklyn served as Media Day host, which saw a blend of traditional media opportunities and social media interaction make for a unique afternoon for all in attendance and watching live.
The webcast, hosted by longtime NEC-TV hoops announcers Dave Popkin and Tim Capstraw, was offered free of charge and featured interviews with all 24 of the conference’s men’s and women’s head hoops coaches.
Complying with the “social media” theme, the live webcast featured a Bloggers’ Roundtable discussion and fans interacted with the Conference by tweeting questions and comments to Social Media Ambassador Craig D'Amico using the #NECinNYC hashtag.
