Fairfield, CT -- Callan Taylor (Overland Park, Kan.) receives the nod to the Capital One Academic All-Distict First Team for District 1. Last year, Taylor was named to the Capital One Academic All-District Second Team.

The senior is currently averaging a double-double with 17.1 points and 10.1 rebounds per game. Taylor has twelve double-doubles this season, recording her most recent one against Quinnipiac on Jan. 23 with 10 points and 15 rebounds, the exact number she needed to reach the 1,000 career-rebound milestone. The small forward leads the NEC in field goal percentage (51.8%) and defensive rebounds (7.48/game).

Taylor has helped lead the Pioneers to their current 16-5 overall record, and 9-1 in-conference to be sitting in first place.
