Nampa, ID -- Sacred Heart senior Bertony Jean-Louis (Norwalk, CT) was just the second Pioneer in program history to compete at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday, competing in the 60 meter hurdles. Jean-Louis gained entry into the field thanks to his record breaking run in defending his title at the IC4A Championships last weekend.
Jean-Louis ran a 7.84 second time on Friday, to finish 12th overall in the event and the nation. He did not qualify for the finals. At last week's IC4A event, Jean-Louis broke his own school record and the venue record in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 7.76 seconds.
