The spring season is underway for the golfers of the Northeast Conference as the teams traveled to warmer climates to begin the second portion of their schedules Two golfers posted terrific scores at their respective invitational’s and for their efforts earn NEC Golfer of the Week honors. Bryant’s Spencer Sweitzer booked a field-best round of 69 on day one of the tournament en-route to posting the only under-par score at the Hurricane Fusillade Challenge (-1), while LIU Brooklyn’s Cristina Felip took first at the Lonnie Barton Invitational to help the Blackbirds to claim first overall.
