While several teams of the Northeast Conference were idle this week, Central Connecticut’s Ashley Crawford and LIU Brooklyn’s Brianna Maynard were hard at work posting season best numbers at their respective invitational’s, which earned them both NEC Golfer of the Week honors. Crawford posted a 69 on the first day of competition, a season low, at the Barona Collegiate Cup in San Diego while Maynard booked a career best 76 at the Richmond Spider Invitational. Her eighth place overall finish was top among six NEC teams at the event.
