Fairleigh Dickinson earned a sweep of the NEC men's tennis weekly awards on Tuesday. FDU junior Peter Svarka became the fourth member of the Knights to pick up a Player of the Week/Month honor, while freshman teammate Arvis Berzins collected a fourth straight NEC Rookie of the Week accolade. Both players went 2-0 in singles and picked up key victories in a 5-2 win over Bryant on Saturday. Reigning NEC Player of the Year Claudia Hidalgo claimed her second NEC Player of the Week award on the women's side after picking up a #1 singles win in a 4-3 victory over FDU on Saturday. Quinnipiac freshman Michelle Dassa picks up the NEC Rookie of the Week award following a perfect 2-0 week in singles and doubles play for the Bobcats.
