Brooklyn, NY -- Former LIU Brooklyn men's basketball player Kyle Johnson has been named to Great Britain's preliminary roster for the 2012 Summer Olympics. Johnson,  who finished his collegiate career with 1,433 points, plays professionally for APOEL in Cypruss and has represented Great Britain in previous international competition. He is one of 21 players named to the preliminary roster, which includes three NBA players: Luol Deng (Chicago Bulls), Ben Gordon (Detroit Pistons) and Byron Mullens (Charlotte Bobcats).
