With a berth in the NEC tournament on the line the team’s of the NEC were led by this week’s Player of the Week selections as Central’s Ashley Perkoski and Monmouth’s Sam Lillo share NEC Player of the Week honors, after each put on terrific offensive performances. Perkoski posted 15 points over the weekend to account for half of the Blue Devil’s 30-goal offensive output, while Lillo shattered a 12-year Monmouth record as she recorded eight goals in Friday’s game against Wagner. Defensively Mount’s Gabe Little tallied five caused turnovers in two games as the Mount collected two critical league victories. NEC Rookie of the Week went to Robert Morris’ Erin Mossop, who netted five goals over the weekend, two of which came during the Colonial’s 9-6 road win over Bryant.
