With just a few weeks remaining in the NEC’s men’s and women’s golf seasons three athletes have distinguished their play in their team’s final tune-up matches and earn NEC Golfer of the Week honors for their efforts. Jeremy Foran of Saint Francis (PA) and Ryan Triller of Mount St. Mary’s take a share of the men’s honor while Ellen Huffman of Wagner receives the nod on the women’s side. Foran arded scores of 73 and 71 at the Lafayette Spring invitational to finish second while Mount freshman Ryan Triller also earned a second place finish at the Mount St. Mary’s invitational. Huffman earns her honor after she collected her first collegiate victory at the Mount St. Mary’s Women’s Invite after she inked scores of 74-79-82.
