West Long Branch, NJ - Monmouth graduate student Jim Sullivan (Manasquan, NJ/Manasquan) has been named to the Hampshire Honor Society, which honors players from all divisions which maintained a 3.2 grade point average or better throughout their college career.
"We are very proud and happy for Jim on being named to the Hampshire Honor Society," said head coach Kevin Callahan. "Throughout his time at Monmouth he worked hard in the classroom as well as on the field and is extremely deserving of this recognition."
Sullivan, who started all 11 games at center for the Hawks in 2011, graduated last year and currently is on track to finish Monmouth's one-year MBA program. He currently owns a 3.65 GPA in graduate school.
A total of 721 players from 232 schools qualified for membership in the society's sixth year, marking this year's class as the largest since the program's creation in 2007.
