Loretto, PA -- The Saint Francis men's basketball team added a pair of walk-ons to its roster Tuesday taking the total number of new additions to its roster to five for the 2012-13 season.
After putting together a class of Greg Brown, a guard from Maryland, Ronnie Drinnon, a forward from Ohio and Ben Millaud-Meunier, a guard out of Canada, the Red Flash expanded its roster with a pair of players from its own backyard. Head Coach Rob Krimmel announced Monday the addition of Aric Gresko, a former member Penns Manor, and Zach Vigneault, a former Central Cambria standout, to the basketball roster in 2012-13.
"I think that Aric and Zach are going to make great additions to our program," Krimmel said. "They are both very hard workers but also they are solid members of the community and they are the kind of people I want on and off the floor."
Aric Gresko - PG/SG - 6-0 - Penns Manor
Played his final season for the Penns Manor Comets in 2010-11 before heading to Washington & Jefferson for his freshman season, where he red shirted. Gresko started three seasons for Pens Manor and led the team to the Co-Heritage Conference Championship in his junior season with a record of 21-4. In his senior season in 2010-11, Gresko, a 6-0 guard, averaged 15.8 points a game and posted seven games with 20 points or more. Gresko also stands a solid 3-point shooter as he shot over 40-percent from behind the arc for his AAU squad.
Zachary Vigneault - PG - 6-1 - Bishop Carroll
Joins the Red Flash out of Central Cambria High School, where he was a senior in the 2010-11 season. Vigneault started for the Red Devils in his senior season posting a 28.5-points per game average with 4.2 assists a game, 4.3 rebounds and 3.3-steals a contest. In his final season with Central Cambria, the 6-1 combo guard racked up 12 games of 30 point or more and eight games with more than five assists. His senior season was high lighted by a 30-point, 11-rebound, five-assist showing against Bishop Carroll.
