Former Wagner Linebacker Julian Stanford Profiled In Jacksonville Jaguars' Rookie 101 Series

Jacksonville, FL -- Former Wagner Seahawk and current Jacksonville linebacker Julian Stanford was profiled in the Jaguars' Rookie 101 series. In the two-minute interview, Stanford talks about Wagner College, the speed of the NFL game, his first car, the name of his first football team, his travel aspirations, Wagner Strength & Conditioning coach Brandon Beach and former NFL Player Devale Ellis. The athletic 6-2, 225-pound Stanford, who garnered First Team All-Northeast Conference (NEC) honors as a senior, finished seventh in the conference with 11.5 tackles for loss (minus 57 yards) and ninth with five sacks (minus 32 yards). He was named NEC Defense Player of the Week on two occasions and earned Special Teams Player of the Week once. Despite facing a steady diet of double-teams, Stanford was fifth on the team in tackles with 53, had five pass breakups, three interceptions, two touchdowns, one forced fumble and one blocked kick to go along with 85 returns yards.
