Sacred Heart's Dan Perez Named to ABCA Northeast Region Second Team

Fairfield, CT -- Dan Perez (Seymour, CT) was named to the ABCA Northeast Region second team, the latest accolade in his breakout sophomore season.
The Pioneer designated hitter also was named First Team All-Northeast Conference by the NEC and a NEIBA All Star after hitting .313 with a team best 36 RBI.
As the primary clean-up hitter for much of the second half of the season, Perez helped lead Sacred Heart to its second consecutive Northeast Conference championship and trip to the NCAA Baseball Tournament.
