Rider had one of its rookie performers recognized in the Northeast Conference’s weekly field hockey awards program for a second consecutive week. This time, the Broncs’ honoree captured both the NEC Player and Rookie of the Week awards. Freshman midfielder Rachel Ippolite was in on both goals during Rider’s 2-0 shutout of CAA member Hofstra. Ippolite scored her second goal of the season and added an assist against the Pride.
