The Bryant Bulldogs went 2-0 this week, and NEC Player of the Week Ari Goldberg had a hand in their success. Goldberg netted the game winner in the team's 2-1 win over Delaware State on Friday, before notching another goal in their 3-1 win over Vermont on Sunday. NEC Defensive Player of the Week Alexa Freguletti of Monmouth also played an important part in the Hawks' two games, leading them to their first shutout against Lafayette by keeping the Leopards to only two shots. She also held the Rider squad to one goal, while also scoring the game-tying goal in the second overtime game. Sacred Heart's Dana Cosmedy also notched a game winner in the Pioneers' 2-1 win vs. Cornell, earning her NEC Rookie of the Week accolades.
