After a weekend of tough competition, including a match to nationally ranked Minnesota, LIU Brooklyn athletes Annika Foit and Adrianna Vinas Joy earned the MoltenNEC Player of the Week and Defensive player of the week awards. Foit Foit had 46 kills over three matches, hitting .304 on the weekend, and recorded a season-high 25 kills against Albany. Vinas Joy, a freshman Vinas Joy was named to the All-Tournament Team after finishing the weekend with 53 total digs for a 4.82 digs per set average. Hannah Kutny of Saint Francis (PA) earned MoltenNEC Rookie of the Week honors for leading all Red Flash players in kills for the weekend while recording a .324 hitting percentage and 3.18 kills per set.
