Sacred Heart's Ashley Moore and Quinnipiac's Kemesha Woodfine
With two goals each over the weekend, Sacred Heart's Ashley Moore and Quinnipiac's Kemesha Woodfine are NEC Women's Soccer Co-Players of the Week. Moore scored the game-winner in the Pioneers' first win of the season over Lafayette, and notched another in the win against Manhattan. Woodfine also scored a game-winner for Quinnipiac in the Bobcats' 2-1 against Vermont before adding a second goal of the weekend in the team's 1-0 win vs. Holy Cross. Jill Kelley of Quinnipiac picks up her second-straight Defensive Player of the Week honor going 2-0 on the weekend and recording her second shutout in three games against Holy Cross. Freshman Rachel Hoekstra of Fairleigh Dickinson is the Rookie of Week, scoring three goals over the weekend, including two in FDU's 5-0 rout of Delaware State.
