Daytona, FL - With four athletes currently in the top-10 in the individual standings, LIU Brooklyn remained at the top of the leaderboard with a two-day score of 616 after day two of the 2013 NEC Women's Golf Championship at the LPGA International’s Legends course in Daytona, FL. 

Alice Boothroyd (North Yorkshire, England/Rossett) moved up four spots to second place after carding a 2-over 74 on the day to help the Blackbirds extend their lead to 18 strokes over second place Sacred Heart. Freshman Marisol Doglioli (Acosta, Italy, Mount St. Mary's) jumped seven spots to tie for third with a total of 153 after shooting a 3-over 75.  Brianna Maynard (Auckland, New Zealand/Rosehill Col.) is in seventh with 155, while defending individual champion Cristina Felip (Barcelona, Spain/IES Joaquim Blume) is tied for ninth with 158 .

Fairleigh Dickinson's Mariana Juaristi Mariana Juaristi (Irapuato, Guanajuato/Prepa Tec) held on to the top spot in the individual leaderboard, carding a 6-over 78 for 149 two-day total, one stroke in front of Boothroyd. 

Sacred Heart moved into the second spot with 633 from fifth place, backed by strong performances from Malin Wallheede Malin Wallheede (Molnlycke, Sweden/Hulebacksgymnasiet) and Bri Carnahan (Port Jefferon, NY/Earl J. Vandermueln HS). Wallheede  is tied for third with Doglioli and Central Connecticut's Anna Ausanio Anna Ausanio (Hopewell Junction, NY/John Jay) after shooting a 4-over 76, while Carnahan carded a 3-over 75. 

Saint Francis U's Ann Colligan (Kittanning, PA/Kittanning) jumped four spots to sixth place with a 4-over 76 on day two for a total of 154, while Quinnipiac's Krissy Unger (New York, NY/Northport) is in eighth with 156, and Monmouth's Michelle Rosenhouse (Dix Hills, NY/Half Hollow Hills West) is tied for ninth.

Fairleigh Dickinson is three strokes behind Sacred Heart, while Quinnipiac is in fourth with 642 and CCSU is right behind with 643. Monmouth is in the sixth spot, followed by Saint Francis U in seventh and Wagner in eighth. Rounding out the 11-team field is Robert Morris, Mount St. Mary's and St. Francis Brooklyn. 

The NEC will crown the 2013 champion after 18 more holes of golf on Sunday, April 28.
