The sophomore earns his second NEC Player of the Week award after scoring a game-high four goals and adding one assist for five points in the Hawks’ 11-3 win over VMI on Wednesday. Rastivo is now currently tied for the league lead in goals (9) and points per game (3.25). The sophomore took a game-high 8 shots, and added two ground balls for the Hawks in the win.
NEC Defensive Player of the Week
Pat Dallon, Saint Joseph’s
#6, Fr., GK, Sound Beach, N.Y./Rocky Point
Dallon got his first collegiate start in goal for the Hawks in an 11-3 victory over VMI Wednesday. The freshman made a career-high 12 saves in 60 minutes of action for the Hawks with six of those saves coming in the final 15:00 of the contest. Prior to Wednesday’s game against VMI, Dallon had seen the first 6:54 of his collegiate career in the final 6:54 against #14 Penn on Feb. 17.
NEC Rookie of the Week
Andrew Streilein, Wagner
#3, Fr., A, Mt. Laurel, NJ/Lenape
The Mt. Laurel native tallied eight points on four goals and four assists in two games last week. On February 24, Streilen played a huge role in the Seahawks throwing a huge scare into Big 10 member Rutgers as he scored two goals to go along with 3 assists and two ground balls. The freshman then went on to score two more goals and tally another assist in a 14-6 Seahawks victory over Umass-Lowell.
