Daytona Beach, FL - Central Connecticut held the lead from start to finish.
On Sunday, the Blue Devils carded a 297 to hold off runner-up Robert Morris and secure their first NEC men's golf team title since 2005. Over three days on the Hills Course at LPGA International, CCSU posted an 889 team score.

Saptak Talwar (New Delhi, India) earned the individual title after defeating CCSU senior
Anthony Sebastianelli (Clarks Summit, PA/Abington Heights) in a sudden-victory playoff. Talwar, who shot 67 (-5) during Sunday’s final round, and 216 for the tournament, parred the par four 18th hole while Sebastianelli bogeyed. It is the first Sacred Heart University individual winner since Peter Ballo in 2014.
Robert Morris finished second (901) overall and had four players, sophomore
Max Palmer (Novi, MI/Detroit Catholic Central) (3rd-219), senior
Grant Schumaker (Macungie, PA/Emmaus) (T-11, 227), junior,
David Szymanski (Grosse Point Park, MI/Gross Point South) (T-14th, 229) and sophomore Kyle Grube (Indiana, PA/Indiana) (T-14th-229) finish among the top 18.
Central Connecticcut had three player finish in the top ten. Sebastianelli, as the individual runner up, while rookies Nick Piersall Portland, CT/Portland) and Joe Tucker (Warwick, RI/Bishop Hendricken) tied for seventh place with total scores of 223.
