FDU Women's Golf Concludes NCAA Regional with Team-Best Score

San Francisco, CA -- The Fairleigh Dickinson women's golf team completed the NCAA Regional on Wednesday afternoon with a 309 team stroke total, their lowest of the three rounds at TPC Harding Park.

The final round total bested their previous low by four strokes as the team concluded the regional in 18th place. Stanford, UCLA, Ole Miss, Louisville, Kent State and Colorado will advance to next round of the championships by nabbing the top six spots in the field. The host Stanford Cardinal finished atop the team leaderboard at 8-under-par by posting a 286 final-round score.

The Knights finished with a three-round total of 937 (315-313-309) and were led by senior Mailen Domecq Chantry, who tied for 63rd overall. Chantry played consistent golf throughout the regional, posting scores of 75-76-75 across her three rounds to finish at 10-over-par.

Teammates, Najae Butler (+20), Gabriela Santini (+22), Nicola Smith (+25) and Julia Warke (+27) rounded out the Knights scorecard on Wednesday. Butler posted the best final round of the group with a 5-over-par, 77, while Santini shot a 78, Smith carded a 79 and Warke logged an 82 across the final 18 holes.

UCLA's Patty Tavatanakit finished first overall by netting an 8-under-par score for the regional, including a 5-under-par, 67 on Wednesday.
