NEC MEN’S LACROSSE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Matthew Pedicine, Hobart
Sr., FO, Clark, NJ/Arthur L. Johnson

Pedicine blew up the stat sheet with 32 faceoff wins to break the D1 NCAA record in Hobart's 22-12 win over Siena on Saturday. The Clark, NJ product finished the day with an 86.4 percent mark at the X, going 32-for-37. The previous D1 record for faceoff wins was 30, with the original standard set all the way back in 1988. The senior fogo also tied an NEC record with 20 ground balls, and ranks 13th all-time on the NCAA's single-game list.

NEC MEN’S LACROSSE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Luke Caracciolo, Bryant
Fr., G, Centreville, VA/Paul VI
A week removed from earning NEC Rookie of the Week honors, Caracciolo garnered the Defensive Player of the Week award this time around after racking up 15 saves in an 11-8 win over Providence on Saturday. Caracciolo, who hails from Centreville, VA, posted a .652 save percentage against the Big East foe, and denied the Friars on five opportunities in the fourth quarter to lock it down for the Bulldogs. He was also efficient clearing the ball as Bryant successfully transitioned the ball from defense to offense at a .944 (17-of-18) rate. Caracciolo has 31 saves in two games combined, and boasts a solid .646 percentage to lead the NEC in both categories.

NEC MEN’S LACROSSE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Jason Knox, Hobart
Fr., A, Huntsville, Ontario/St. Andrew's
Knox broke an NEC single-game record with nine goals in the Statesmen's 22-12 win over Siena on Saturday. The Huntsville, Ontario native reeled off eight goals in the first half alone, with five fired off in a seven-minute span of the second quarter. He registered both of Hobart's man-up tallies, scoring the second late in the first half that gave Hobart a 10-goal lead. The nine goals are the most in the NCAA this season and tied for 20th on the all-time list. Knox increased his season point total to 11, after also notching two points against Canisius last week, and currently leads the NEC with 10 goals. The Statesmen have scored a combined 43 goals in their opening pair of wins against MAAC opponents.
