Myrtle Beach, SC -- On the final day of the 2019 NCAA Myrtle Beach Regional, Fairleigh Dickinson's
Florian Schroedl finished his junior season on a strong note, carding his best score throughout the three-day tournament, posting an even par in the third round at the par-72, 6,950-yard course.
Schroedl finished 70th with a three-round score of 240 (81-87-82). On the final day of play, the junior was even on both the front and back nine, while birdieing on the third and 18th hole.
Wednesday's final round of the NCAA Regional concluded the memorable 2018-19 campaign for the Berlin native. The Burgundy and Blue leader was named a 2019 All-NEC First Team, won the 2019 Northeast Conference Individual Title, finishing 10 tournaments inside the top-25 and leading the Knights with a 74.1 stroke average.
Illinois, Ohio State, Wake Forest, California and UNLV will move onto the NCAA Finals, which are being held at the Blessings Golf Club in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
The Fighting Illini's Michael Feagles finished atop the leaderboard at 15-under-par. Competing as an individual, Coastal Carolina's Zack Taylor (E) finished ahead of the other four individual competitors, advancing to the NCAA Finals.
