Carter was a two-time All-Northeast Conference selection who started all 78 games of her career, the second most in LIU history. The defender was a member of a backline that tallied 15 shutouts last fall and reached the NEC title match. Carter is a four-time member of the NEC Academic Honor Roll who was also named to NEC Commissioner’s Honor Roll in 2007-08. She is a Biology major who maintains a 3.60 grade point average. |

Petrella, a senior, has been named the NEC Libero of the Year in each of the last two seasons. She ranked second in the league in digs per game (4.76) and third in service aces per game (0.40) in 2010. Petrella is CCSU's all-time leader in digs with over 2,000 in her four seasons in New Britain. She has been named to the NEC Academic Honor Roll in each of her four years. Petrella is a Physical Education major who carries a 3.68 grade point average. |

Botes plays at #1 singles and #1 doubles for the Knights this season after being named to the All-NEC second team at #2 singles in 2009-10. She posted a 17-3 overall record a year ago and was 5-1 in NEC play. Her overall singles winning percentage (.850) was the third-highest in the conference. Botes, an Electrical Engineering major, has posted a near-perfect 3.97 grade point average, the highest on the women's tennis team. |

The anchor of the Quinnipiac defense, Glebocki was named to the 2010 All-NEC second team. The senior defender led the Bobcats with 17 caused turnovers and picked up 27 ground balls in 2010. Glebocki went on to earn a spot on the All-ECAC Lacrosse Academic team. A Criminal Justice major, he has registered a 3.54 grade point average. |

Pompeani won his second career tournament last fall at the Fairleigh Dickinson Invitational to help the Colonials defended their title. Heading into spring play, the sophomore ranks second on the Colonials in average score per round at 76.5 strokes. Pompeani was named to the 2010 NEC Academic Honor Roll and NEC Commissioner's Honor Roll. He has posted a 3.87 grade point average majoring in Finance. |

Stow was a double-award winner this past fall when she was named the NEC Defensive Player of the Year and NEC Goalkeeper of the Year for the Pioneers. Stow, a red-shirt junior, ranked fourth in the circuit in save percentage (.769), fourth in goals against average (2.75) and posted three shutouts. She has been named to the NEC Academic Honor roll in each of the last three years. The Psychology major maintains a 3.60 grade point average. |

Czeski is a two-sport star at Wagner as a member of the football and basketball squads the last three years. The senior defensive back ranked second on the football team in tackles this past season with 74. Czeski is pursuing his MBA with a concentration in Management. The NEC Academic Honor Roll recipient has compiled a 3.56 grade point average. |

Twardowski finished 35th overall at 2010 NEC Cross Country Championships and 33rd at the 2010 New England Championships. He also earned a top-15 finish at the Bryant Invitational this past fall. He is a four-time NEC Commissioner’s Honor Roll honoree and Academic Honor Roll selection. Twardowski has also beed tabbed to the Bryant Dean’s List in each of his seven semesters. He has posted a 3.93 grade point average majoring in Actuarial Mathematics. |

Taylor, a junior forward, was a second team All-NEC honoree in 2009-10 after earned NEC All-Rookie honors as a freshman in 2008-09. Earlier this season she was named to the Junkanoo Jam All-Tournament team after leading Sacred Heart to a win over Auburn. She currently ranks in the NEC top-five in scoring, rebounding and free throw percentage. The NEC Academic Honor Roll honoree is an Exercise Science major. She has compiled a 3.59 grade point average. |

Kelly is the reigning NEC Defensive Player of the Year. The senior ringleader of one of the league’s stingiest defensive units, she ranked fourth on the circuit last season with 1.47 caused turnovers per game, and also led the Bobcats with 44 draw controls and 41 ground balls. Quinnipiac was picked as NEC co-favorites for the 2011 season as Kelly will look to lead the Bobcats to their first NEC crown. She is a Psychology major with a 3.64 grade point average. |

Simonovic, a junior, was the recipient of the Elite 88 award at the 2010 NCAA Division I Men’s Water Polo Championship. It is given to the student-athlete at the Final Four with the highest grade point average. He helped lead the Terriers to the NCAA semifinals and a #10 national ranking. Simonovic was also named an Honorable Mention All-American. He maintains a 3.92 grade point average majoring in accounting. |

Jakubowski, a junior midfielder, ranked third in the NEC this past season with six assists. The first team All-NEC midfielder has ranked first or second on the Blackbirds in scoring in each of his three seasons and has amassed 42 career points. He is a three-time NEC Academic Honor Roll member who has been inducted into Alpha Chi academic honor society. Jakubowski also helped LIU post a 3.45 grade point average as a team to to earn an NSCAA Top 10 Team Academic Award. He is a Business Finance major with a 3.69 GPA. |

Svrdlik, a senior forward, is one of the NEC's most improved players this season. He was tabbed Choice Hotels NEC Co-Player of the Week on December 6 and ranks among league leaders in field goal percentage, rebounding and blocked shots. He currently sports the highest GPA on the Fairleigh Dickinson team with a 3.44 majoring in Mathematics. |

Firmstone was recently named the 2010 NEC Scholar-Athlete award winner in field hockey. The senior was tabbed to the All-NEC first team last fall after she registered career-highs in goals (six), assists (six) and points (18). Firmstone scored three game-winning goals and helped lead the Hawks to a school-record 15 wins and a berth in the NEC title game for the second straight year. A member of the NEC Academic and Commissioner's Honor Roll, she majors in Communications and sports a 3.96 grade point average. |

Leach is currently the NEC's leading scorer, averaging nearly 17 points per game. She is ninth on the league's all-time scoring list with 1,400+ points and reached in double digits in 23 of the first 24 games this season. The senior guard is a two-time All-NEC selection and has been named Player-of-the-Week twice in 2010-11. Leach was recently named to the Capital One Academic All-District II First Team, and is on national ballot for Academic All-America consideration. She majors in Elementary/Special Education and carries a 3.55 grade point average. |

One of just two players in Robert Morris history to earn All-NEC honors all four years, Graham was a three-time first team award winner. The senior middle blocker finished her career with over 1,000 kills and 400 total blocks. She became the female student-athlete in school history to earn Capital One Academic All-America honors from CoSIDA, garnering second team recognition. Graham majors in Nuclear Medicine Technology and carries a 3.98 grade point average. |

Sanderson was recently named the NEC Cross Country Scholar-Athelte of the Year. He turned in a dominating performance at the 2010 NEC Cross Country Championships, winning the event in a course record time of 24:50 to lead the Blue Devils to a second straight conference title. He also finished fourth at the New England Championships and IC4A Championships. Sanderson is a member of the NEC Academic Honor Roll and carries a 3.41 grade point average. He majors in Physical Education. |

Landi, a junior forward, is a two-time All-NEC second team selection. This past fall, she led the Bulldogs to an NEC Tournament berth in the program's first year of eligibility. She finished with seven goals and 15 points, both team-leading totals. Landi has been a member of the Bryant Dean's List in all five of her semesters, and is a two-time NEC Academic Honor Roll selection and 2009 NEC Commissioner’s Honor Roll member. She majors in Literacy & Cultural Studies and maintains a 3.65 grade point average. |

Thibault, a sophomore guard, currently leads the Hawks and ranks second in the NEC in three-point field goal percentage (.447) through games of January 24th. She has been a Dean’s List student every semester at Monmouth and has registered a perfect 4.0 grade point average. Thibault is majoring in Psychology with a double minor in Health Studies and Spanish. |

Mothershead, a senior guard, currently ranks fifth all-time at LIU in three-pointers made. She shot 40.4 percent from long distance in 2009-10, the fourth-best single season mark in school history, as the Blackbirds advanced to the NEC title game. A member of the NEC Academic Honor Roll, Mothershead is working on her Masters in Business Administration after receiving her degree in Marketing. She posted a 3.50 grade point average as an undergraduate student and has a 3.69 GPA in graduate school. |

Nearhoof, a sophomore defensive lineman, helped lead the Colonials to berth in the 2010 NCAA FCS playoffs after finishing as NEC co-champions with a 7-1 record. He paced Robert Morris was 5.5 sacks and was named to the All-NEC First Team. Nearhoof also became the third student-athlete from football program to earn Capital One Academic All-America honors from CoSIDA, being named to second team. Nearhoof is a Biology major with a 3.97 grade point average. |

Detzel was named to the Capital One Academic All-America first team following a terrific senior season that saw him pick up All-NEC honors for the second straight year. After being named to the second team in 2009, he earned first team accolades this past season when he led the NEC with eight assists and ranked seventh with 14 points. Detzel finished his Mount career with 17 points and 17 assists for 51 points. The midfielder is a Mathematics/Computer Science major with a 3.87 grade point average. |

Uyeno, a senior wide receiver, ranked fourth in the NEC in receptions this past season for the Pioneers. He caught 48 passes for 437 yards as part of the league's top-ranked passing offense. Uyeno was named to the Capital One Academic All-District team and was an Allstate/AFCA Good Works Team Award nominee. The Business Administration major carries a 3.62 grade point average. |

A two-sport standout, Balling has been an integral member of the Wagner women’s soccer team during her four years, playing in 76 games while scoring nine goals. She also has been the track & field team’s top 800-meter runner over the last two two seasons. Balling has been an NEC Honor Roll Student-Athlete every semester and has earned inclusion on the President’s Honor Roll in each of the last two years. She maintains a 3.93 grade point average majoring in Business Administration. |

Named to the 2010 All-NEC first team at forward, Fleming finished his senior year ranked first in the conference with eight assists. He was also third in points (24) and fourth in goals (eight) as the Red Flash advanced to the NEC title game after a third place regular season finish. Fleming is a three-time NSCAA All-Region honoree. Fleming capped his year by being selected as a second team Capital One Academic American. The Business Management major has compiled a 3.52 grade point average. |
