Weekend Recap:
- Bryant vs. Wagner: Bryant defeated Wagner in their home opener, 151-11. The Bulldogs saw strong performances from Taylor DeBever and Casey Ostrander (Yarmouthport, MA/Barnstable), who each won three individual events. The Bulldogs won 11 events on the day. Three pool records were set at the meet, including one in the 100 breaststroke by freshman Julia Messina in 1:07. 8. Messina then went on to win the 200 breaststroke as well. Freshman once again played a big role for the Seahawks, as Amanda Lucia (Easthampton, MA/ Easthampton) won the 200 butterfly in 2:07.57 and crushed the previous pool record of 2:10.78. Lucia also finished second in the 100 butterfly and 200 I.M. Her teammate Kara Lacoste (Chicopee, MA/ Chicopee Comprehensive), also a freshman, won the 200 IM in 2:11.76 for another record at the Chace Center Pool, while Alexandra Cooney (Port Jervis, NY/Minisink Valley) picked up the third Wagner win in the 1000 free in 10:42.79.
 
- CCSU Diving Invitational: Wagner’s diving squad headed up to New Britain, CT for a meet with Central Connecticut. The CCSU Diving Invitational featured preliminary and final rounds of the one-meter and three-meter events. Wagner’s Erica Curry (Fountain Valley, CA/Fountain Valley) won both events, while CCSU divers Kate Dwyer (Waterbury, CT/Sacred Heart) and Jessica Goldman (Newington, CT /Newington/Trinity College) took second on the one and three-meter boards, respectively.
