The winner of back-to-back NEC Rookie honors, Snoddy has taken home the award four times in the last five weeks and five times overall to rank 11th on the all-time conference single-season list. In what may have been his best week yet, Snoddy averaged 14.0 points, 12.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists, while converting 57.1 percent of his shot opportunities. The Melville, NY product played arguably the finest game of his career on Saturday. His 18 points matched a career-high and he set new career-bests with 14 rebounds and seven assists. His putback with 0.9 seconds remaining sent the game to overtime, as the Blue Devils went to post a 91-82 win over FDU. Snoddy, who has compiled three straight double-doubles and four during league play, leads all NEC freshman in scoring (8.1), rebounding (7.3) and FG accuracy (.493). CCSU players have won eight of the 13 NEC Rookie awards this season.
