Posting a 1-1 record, the junior calculated a 1.08 ERA and fanned 12 batters in 13.0 innings of work. Marsden gave No. 14 Clemson a run for its money on Friday, holding the Tigers scoreless through 5.1 innings in an eventual 2-0 defeat. The Erie, PA product went on to help the Red Flash end the weekend on a high note on Saturday. She fanned a season-high 10 batters en route to earning a one-hit shutout win against Akron (6-0).
