DeWitt, a freshman, had a productive week at the plate to earn NEC Player of the Week honors. The rookie tallied four RBI and scored four runs after going 8-for-16 at the plate. In addition, DeWitt finished the week with a .526 on-base percentage and a .688 slugging percentage after recorded a pair of doubles and going yard twice.
