Perry had a monstrous week at the plate for Mount St. Mary’s to lead the Mountaineers to a three-game sweep of Wagner. The sophomore posted a 1.000 slugging percentage and had a hand in 10 of the Mount’s 15 runs during that stretch with seven RBI and three runs scored. Four of Perry’s six hits went for extra bases, as she smashed two doubles, one triple and a home run. Opening the series with a 4-for-4 effort that included a pair of stolen bases and two RBI on Saturday, Perry came up clutch in the next game of the twinbill. She hit a three-run home run in the bottom of the seventh to spark a furious comeback bid and went on to drive in the game-winning run in the bottom of the ninth frame. The Brunswick, MD finished the week with a .462 batting average after going 6-for-13 in the three-game set.
